Tricia Montgomery is the visionary behind Moose's March, a 501c3 organization dedicated to making early detection of pet cancer accessible to everyone regardless of gender, race or income level.

A senior executive with over 25 years' experience in animal welfare and pet industry, she has the skills necessary to bring leadership, program development and visibility that will generate growth and resources for her mission.

With expertise in proactive strategic leadership, global research & market trends, fundraising and corporate social responsibility as well as public speaking & media relations – plus an innate ability to influence stakeholders – Tricia drives her mission of "Marching for More Memories" towards success.

She is committed to creating a future where early detection of pet cancer leads toward better outcomes for all animals – achieving lasting impact through excellence in leading initiatives with vision and innovation.

Moose's March Inc. - 2022 - Current

President & Founder - Champion for the early detection of pet cancer for pets and their people. Encompasses a spectrum of responsibilities: from spearheading leadership and setting the strategic direction to fostering key partnerships and serving as the organization's primary spokesperson. With a pivotal role in board relations, media engagement, team management, and financial oversight, passionate advocate for animal welfare, have robust public relations prowess, and demonstrate an adeptness in fundraising and organizational management. 

Pmonty Consulting - 2008 - Current 

President - Specializing in the Animal Welfare, Pet Industry & Veterinry Profession. Consulting, Advisory and PR/ Communications firm specializing in the Animal, Pet + People Industry. *Serves as an Executive Advisor/Consultant, Speaker, Advocate, and Subject Matter Expert (SME) on multiple topics (below) and for Veterinary Advisory Boards, multiple agencies, non-profits, and foundations.

Oversees all organization activities and provides proactive leadership and expertise. Responsible for the overall direction and management of the organization with a focus on results and opportunities along with developing and executing a clear strategy for Paws Humane Society’s mission-based activities.

K9 Fit Club – Fitness for both Dogs & People - 2008 - 2019       

Founder - Based on Tricia's journey of losing 130 lbs with her dog Louie, K9 Fit Club is a nationwide community dedicated to the health and wellness of dogs and people. Proprietary programs include: Oh My Dog Bootcamp™, “Bow Wow Bootcamp™, Pupilates™, Tai Chi Wa Wa™, Fungility™ and licensing program ®Don’t Sit

Created the nation's first, science-based human and canine fitness program building a nationwide community of clubs and online platforms. Created and oversaw all business operations and organizational strategies such as talent development, masters training, licensing opportunities, financial management, and PR while presiding over the boards of directors. Bootstrapped and grew company into 81 new locations in four (4) years

Chicago Veterinary Medical Association - 1993 - 2008

Executive Director/Public Education Director - Cultivated a strong and inclusive board, elevated CVMA membership from 934 to 1575+, fostered an organizational culture focused on respect and trust, and strategically strengthened programs and impact within our chosen industry. Executed mission and vision, while serving as the organization’s spokesperson. Interacted and participated in all committees, provided vision and strategy around future organizational needs, while strengthening Board capacity and organizational culture. Planned and executed all monthly Continuing Education Meetings, developed, and lead all fundraising efforts to ensure financial stability and sustainability.

Managed Internal/External Communications, PR, and Marketing for nation’s largest regional veterinary medical association. Established cohesive voice across TV, Media and Press including appearances on ABC, NBC, CBS, and FOX networks, as well as shows such as Good Morning America, Oprah, CNN, and NPR. Created and fostered strong community and non-profit relationships and planned/spearheaded large-scale fund-raising events such as “Mardis Growl”. Organized disaster-relief rescue efforts during and post-Hurricane Katrina – raised over $245K in three days from media and musical concerts
