Non-Profit
When a child is diagnosed with a life-threatening condition, childhood doesn’t stop, but it can get harder to find. A Kid Again helps families find it again.
A Kid Again creates free, year-round experiences called Adventures, giving families raising a child with a life-threatening condition something fun to look forward to beyond appointments, treatments, and the everyday worries that come with their child’s condition. From theme parks and sporting events to museums and other kid-desired destinations, Adventures give the whole family a chance to get out, have fun, and make memories together.
And it’s more than one special day. Families join A Kid Again to attend Adventures throughout the year and become part of a community that understands their journey. Kids meet other kids, siblings are included, and parents and caregivers connect with families who get it. That sense of belonging, along with a future Adventure on the calendar, reminds families they aren’t alone.
