How do I create a profile?

To create a profile, simply click on "Create A Free Profile." Enter your account email address and password, then you’ll be good to go.

How do I edit my profile / change my contact info / update my job, etc?

Underneath your headshot on the left hand side of the home page, you’ll see two buttons: "change image" and "edit profile." Click on one of those to update your image and/or make any necessary changes to your profile, including your contact and employment information, changes to your login credentials, and more.

What are the optimal specs for my headshot?

For best results, we recommend you use a square 300px by 300px image that is a minimum of 75 DPI and is a JPG or PNG. Be sure to hit the "Upload Image" button before saving your profile.

If I don't have, or don't want to include a headshot, what image should I use?

Any image that is not a corporate logo will be allowed for use. If you choose not to upload a headshot, a generic one will generate automatically.

What is the Manage My Content menu?

The Manage My Content menu includes all of the tools you need to manage your content on MarketingPartnerships.com.

Where is the Manage My Content menu / how can I access my account settings?

Click on the caret next to your profile picture on the right hand side to manage all of your content.

How will my email be used?

Your email is used for our internal support and communication purposes. We will never give your email out to any other MarketingPartnerships.com users or third parties without your permission.

Will my mobile phone number be public if I include it in my profile?

Mobile phone numbers will only appear for site administrators.

How can I retrieve my password?

From the login page, simply click on "forgot my password" and you will receive an email to reset your password

Once I’ve created a profile, how do I log in to the site?

From the login page, type in your Username (your email address) and your password, then click the Login button.

How do I retrieve my company log-in information?

Users log-in individually, not as companies.

How do I log out?

Click the caret in the top right corner by your headshot and select "Logout".

What is the News Feed?

The News Feed is the constantly updating list of stories in the middle of the home page, comprised of the latest opportunities and updates from the marketing community.

What does "Filter News Feed" mean/do?

The filter section allows you to see only recent postings of your selected News Type.

What does "Explore the Community" mean/do?

This is where you can quickly jump to specific sections of the site, like Opportunities, Partnerships, Videos, the Trending section, and more.

As a Basic Member, why can’t I click on all items in the News Feed?

Basic Members always have access to the featured Opportunities, Partnerships, Companies and People. If you would like contact information and access to our entire database, please click here for more information on a VIP Membership.

How can I add my Opportunities and Partnerships to the News Feed?

Opportunities and Partnerships in the News Feed are posted by our Corporate Members. If you would like to access these features, please click here for more information on a VIP Membership. If you need help uploading an Opportunity, please see our User Guide.

How can I refine the Opportunity results to be more appropriate for my brand?

Select the filters that fit your brand’s goals by Opportunity Type, Genre, Target Audience and more. You can also search for a specific term using the search field at the top of the Opportunities page.

Can I view more details in specific Opportunity details in the results pages?

VIP and Corporate Members have full access to all entries, including the people involved with the ability to contact them. Basic Members have access to all Opportunities, but contact details are restricted. I have found an Opportunity that I am interested in. How can I contact the Opportunity owner?

VIP and Corporate Members are able to message with the Opportunity owner directly through the site. Basic Members must connect with the person they are trying to contact before following the steps listed above.

I have messaged the Opportunity owner, but have not received a response, can The L.A. Office help?

I have an Opportunity I would like to promote on MarketingPartnerships.com, how can I add to the database?

If you are a Corporate Member, go to the caret on the top right of your screen by your headshot and select "My Opportunities". From there, you can click on the "add new opportunity" button, then enter all of the required information and hit "Submit." If you are NOT a Corporate Member, email us at Membership@marketingpartnerships.com, and we will fill you in on how to get started. How do I add/edit a Partnership?

One benefit of VIP and Corporate Memberships is that you have the ability to add and promote your own Partnerships. For detailed information on how to upload a Partnership, please see our User Guide.

How can I refine the Partnership results that best pertain to my brand?

Filter your results by selecting Entertainment Type and Partner Category. You can also search for a specific term using the search field at the top of the Partnerships page.

Can I view more details in the Partnership page?

What is RoadShow On-Demand?

RoadShow On-Demand Property Reviews are presentations delivered by Corporate Members to introduce their Company and their partnership marketing Opportunities.

How do I become the featured property review?

The two most recent RoadShows are featured. If you are a Corporate Member, contact your Membership Representative to schedule your RoadShow On-Demand presentation.

How do I access the RoadShow On-Demand database?

Click "RoadShow On-Demand" at the top of the page in the Videos section.

What is the optimal viewer for watching the RoadShow On-Demand presentations?

MarketingPartnerships.com has a built in universal media player. Click play and enjoy!

How long are the RoadShow On-Demand Property Review presentations?

Presentations run approximately 20-25 minutes.

How can I give a RoadShow On-Demand presentation?

RoadShow On-Demand presentations are reserved for members of our Corporate Membership program. If you are already a Corporate Member, contact your Membership Representative to schedule your presentation.

My RoadShow On-Demand presentation is no longer valid, how can I remove it from the database?

What is the difference between the RoadShow Webinar Series and RoadShow On-Demand?

RoadShow On-Demand Property Reviews have taken the place of the RoadShow Webinar Series. The move to recorded, on-demand presentations will make the viewing experience easier and more convenient for both the presenters and attendees.

As a Corporate Member, how many RoadShow On-Demand Videos can I host?

Corporate Members have the ability to present two RoadShow On-Demand Property Reviews per annual membership cycle.

How do I access TV Spots/Videos?

Click "Videos" in the Explore the Community sidebar or via the EXPLORE caret dropdown on the top bar.

What is the optimal player for viewing?

Marketing Partnerships has built in a universal media player. Click play and enjoy!

How can I add a commercial spot to the database?

TV Spots must be attached to Partnerships in the database. This feature is restricted for our Corporate Members. For more information on how to upload a Partnership, please see our User Guide.

How can I find all of the commercial spots for a specific title or brand?

Use the search function at the top of the Videos page to find what you are looking for.

Can I attach my profile to commercial spots that I worked on?

Corporate Members can attach themselves to Partnerships, which includes a place for promotional TV Spots. For more information on how to attach yourself, please see our User Guide.

If I can't find the particular spot I'm looking for, can The L.A. Office assist me in my search?

If you are a VIP or Corporate Member, please contact your Membership team and we will do our best to assist you.

Can I get a copy of a TV Spot?

Unfortunately, we do not provide copies of TV Spots; however, you are welcome to view them as many times as you like in our database.

How can I message someone on the site?

Open messaging privileges are limited to VIP and Corporate Members. If you have found the person you want to message, simply click on their profile and select 'send message'. If you are a Basic Member, you must first request to connect with the person you want to send a message to. Once they accept, you'll be able to direct message them.

How will I know when I receive a direct message?

Unread messages will be denoted on the left hand side in the message box, as well as with a number indicator in the top bar. You will also receive a Friday recap message if you haven’t read your entire Inbox.

How can I refine my search results to find appropriate People for my initiatives?

Click on the People section from the sidebar or Explore caret, then filter by Business Category.

What does it mean to connect with a contact?

Connecting with contacts is the same as connecting on any other social network. Once connected, you’ll be able to message this Member.

I have requested to connect with a Member. How do I know when my request has been accepted?

On the left hand side of the home page, click Connections. From there, you can see your current Connections, those that are still pending and the ones you’ve sent.

What companies are on Marketing Partnerships?

The list of companies on the site include entertainment companies, brands and various agencies that provide marketing services.

How can I filter the results?

Once you’ve selected Companies from the explore drop down, you can filter your results by clicking on the 'Company Type' button. You can also use the top search bar to filter results by name, location, and more.

How can my Company be featured?

Our Featured Companies are selected from our Corporate Membership program. If you are a Corporate Member, please contact your Membership Representative, and we will do our best to accommodate. If you are not a Corporate Member but would like more information on the program, please reach out to us at Support@MarketingPartnerships.com.

How can I update my Company information?

Please refer to our User Guide on how to edit or add information to your Company Page.

What does Bookmarking mean?

Bookmarking can be used for following Opportunities, Partnerships, Company or People and is a great way to identify items you want to keep your eye on. You can see everyone and everything you are following when you click on the Bookmark icon at the very top of the page

How do I decide what the best level of Membership is for my initiatives?

Scroll down to the footer and on every page you will see 'Membership Info' which lists all the benefits for the different levels.

I can't decide if I should upgrade. Can I get a trial VIP Membership?

Unfortunately, we do not normally offer trial Memberships to maintain Members’ privacy.

I need more than 10 All-Access Licenses, how do I get more?

Corporate Membership is limited to 10 All-Access Licenses, however, you can purchase additional VIP Memberships for $495 (annual). Click here for more information

I am a Corporate Member, but don't need 10 All-Access Licenses, can I get a prorated Membership?

Corporate Membership is $3,250 per year and includes all of the benefits listed here. Some Corporate Members are a team of 1, and unfortunately, we do not offer prorated Membership options at this time.

I am a Corporate Member working for an agency. Are there additional benefits that are available to me since I can't attend the annual events?

Corporate Membership is $3,250 per year and includes all of the benefits listed here. Unfortunately, the only way for members of an agency or marketing services companies to attend is through event sponsorship. More information here.

How do I schedule my Corporate training session?

How do I post a job?

Anyone can post a job! Corporate Members have the added benefit of no additional charge to post unlimited openings in our Job Board. There is a $50 fee for non-Corporate Members.

Who will see my job posting?

Your listing will be live on MarketingPartnerships.com and promoted in our weekly newsletters to over 50,000 marketers.

How can I filter a job?

You can narrow your results by searching based on location or job type.

How can I feature my job?

If you are a Corporate or VIP Member, please reach out to your Membership Representative.

What are Meet Ups?

Meet Ups are designed to allow you to send a request for a meeting to another member. Once a request is accepted, you can organize a meeting with that member.

What types of meetings can I schedule?

We leave that up to you. Once a Meet Up request is accepted, the two participants are set to decide how they want to meet, whether that is in-person, using a web service, a phone call, etc.

How do I see my requests?

You can check out the Meet-Up Center by clicking on the Meet-Up Requests section to the left of the News Feed or the my meetups section in the dropdown menu next to your profile picture on the top bar.

How do I cancel a Meet Up request?

Head to the Meet-Up Center, then click cancel on the request you want to cancel.
