Pocket.watch is currently seeking a superior self-starter who gets their hands dirty to work with our head of sales to generate revenue with key brand partners. The ideal candidate is a master communicator and extremely organized, ensuring that everyone, internally and externally, is on the same page, understands both YouTube creators and content as well as the YouTube media buying space, and has experience working with legal, talent, and production to ensure timely and accurate deliverables from start to finish. The perfect fit for this role will be a strong mix of left- and right-brain, with the ability to creatively ideate and problem solve, while also tracking multiple projects, active campaigns, and deal pipelines. Knowledge and Experience

  • 5-7 years relevant experience

  • Experience managing sales process, tracking sales metrics and hitting performance benchmarks

  • Solid understanding of the media, marketing and advertising industries, particularly in the YouTube and OTT space.

  • Experience in crafting and designing your own presentation materials. Understanding strong messaging as well as basic design.

  • Experience with YouTube operations and analytics

  • Experience working closely with legal to draft and revise agreements.

  • Advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

  • Advanced knowledge of the Google Suite (Drive, Mail, Sheets, etc.)

  • Microsoft PowerPoint and Apple Keynote experience required.



  • Excellent listening and negotiating skills.

  • Incredibly organized with proven ability to develop and maintain systems for tracking project and deal status.

  • Exceptional and effective written and verbal skills.

  • Strong presentations skills, demonstrating an ability to lead with confidence, establish interpersonal connections, and deliver results with passion and enthusiasm.

  • Possesses the ability to analyze and evaluate sales effectiveness: methods, costs and results.

  • Self-starter who can work autonomously, as well as in a team environment.

  • Excellent collaborator working across departments.

  • Ability to maintain professional composure under pressure.

  • Self-motivated, reliable and excellent attention to detail.

  • Ability to wear multiple hats and thrive in a hard-charging, dynamic startup environment.


Work environment

The worker is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions and work is performed in a business office environment.

Physical demands

Must have close visual acuity to perform the primary responsibilities of this position.

Work is sedentary in nature and involves sitting most of the time.
