Working directly with the Mobile Marketing Manager to set up Broadcast and Peer-to-peer SMS and MMS campaigns in Upland Mobile Messaging (UMM) and Hustle. This includes creating broadcasts, testing campaigns, requesting design assets and other platform-specific duties;
Working with Campaigns and State Affairs staff to produce state-level SMS call campaigns in UMM. This includes creating Blackbaud and UMM target and suppression groups, developing advocacy messaging, recording talking points scripts and providing reports after each send;
Recording and analyzing SMS fundraising and advocacy campaign performance based on Luminate Online data exports; Providing reports and recommendations;
Monitoring and answering constituent SMS replies in UMM and Hustle;
Managing the current Broadcast SMS calendar using JIRA;
Creating and maintaining a calendar for Hustle SMS using JIRA;
Assisting in recruiting, managing and communicating with staff volunteers during Hustle Peer-to-peer SMS campaigns;
Assisting in maintaining communication with Upland Mobile Messaging and Hustle representatives;
Researching trends in mobile messaging and identifying potential opportunities.
High school diploma or equivalent required;
Bachelor ??s degree in Marketing, Communications, or another related field preferred, or equivalent work experience required;
Two years of experience in a marketing or fundraising department preferred;
Experience in writing marketing, advocacy and/or fundraising copy;
Experience in Broadcast and Peer-to-peer SMS marketing;
Experience with Blackbaud Luminate Online preferred;
Effective verbal and written communication skills;
Strong attention to detail;
Extensive knowledge of SMS/MMS messaging using an Android or iOS device;
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel;
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task;
Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
HTML/CSS proficiency desired.
