Job Details:



  • Designing implementing, and providing reporting and strategic analysis for all digital-based fundraising, advocacy and content channels;

  • Creating reports to track fundraising, advocacy and content performance and work cross-channel to share information with stakeholders and leadership;

  • Assisting in building and validating fundraising, advocacy and content models for channels based on reports and data analysis;

  • Assisting in organizing and assigning tasks to staff for digital campaigns. This includes, but is not limited to, implementing and managing a variety of cross-channel calendars; organizing brainstorming, kick-off meetings and campaign recap sessions; and leading reporting efforts on campaigns including timely top-level updates to leadership and in-depth breakdowns to the digital team;

  • Leading cross-channel projects that support the needs of State Directors and campaign staff working on State legislation and events as well as working closely with leadership and channel managers to oversee the administration of submissions and approvals through the agreed prioritization and identifying the appropriate resources;

  • Managing training, and developing a team of Marketing Specialists to write, produce, execute and report on state related content on multiple online platforms;

  • Ensuring consistent language, creative quality, targeting and optimization methods;  

  • Liaising with Communications stakeholders to understand the goals for each channel and the related track-able metrics to report on and analyze on a regular basis; updates these goals as often as needed to ensure data reporting and analysis is useful;

  • Working with Information Systems, Accounting and other organizational staff as needed to create easily accessible reports using existing or new data/reporting infrastructure, and to share results and learnings with these departments as is applicable to our overall organizational goals;

  • Taking constant feedback from the users to improve dashboard usability;

  • Maintaining and enforcing department SOPs/protocols relating to processes and working with the Project Manager (Communications) to document and improve protocols;

  • Providing data/research support to digital marketing and communication teams as needed.


  • Bachelor ??s degree in Marketing, Data Analysis, Communications or other relevant field preferred, or equivalent work experience required;

  • Minimum two years' experience in marketing and/or data analysis, preferably for an advocacy or non-profit organization, is highly desired;

  • Minimum one to two years’ experience with project and/or task management required;

  • Experience working with a CRM strongly preferred;

  • Ability to lead and guide staff to meet department and organizational goals. Strong knowledge of staff management practices. Flexible, willing to learn, and anticipates the needs of self and staff;

  • Ability to set a positive tone for employees during their day;

  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with frequent deadlines; high energy, self-motivated and proactive;

  • Ability to manage issues requiring problem resolution and conflict management with excellent interpersonal and intervention skills;

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;

  • Attention to detail and commitment to excellence, demonstrated by the delivery of quality and timely outcomes;

  • Strong interest in animal protection issues preferred;

  • Strong problem solving, quantitative and analytical abilities;

  • Strong ability to plan and manage numerous processes, people and projects simultaneously;

  • Basic HTML and web design experience or skills strongly desired;

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel and in project management and collaboration software such as JIRA, Confluence, etc.;  

  • Demonstrated propensity to be creative, collaborative, proactive, and self-motivated in the execution and completion of assigned accountabilities;

  • Organizational project, and priority management skills for planning, executing and following up on issues, projects and daily responsibilities in order to meet established deadlines;

  • Ability to work both independently and as an effective team member.
