The Product Marketing Manager will lead global marketing efforts as part of a team bringing premium quality free-to-play Console and PC titles to market. The ideal candidate has a strong focus on delivering and executing innovative marketing strategies, mastering and analyzing key performance indicators to deliver on business goals, and leading communications and prioritization among a diverse set of cross functional teams, including Product Development, User Acquisition, Creative Services, 1st Party and PR, as well as external partners. The candidate has the rare opportunity to help grow a discipline from the ground up and must have proven experience biasing towards action and being effective in entrepreneurial and start-up like environments.


What You Will Do:

  • Marketing Campaign Strategy and Execution
    • Lead marketing plan development and execution for F2P console and PC product launches, content updates and in-game promotions
    • Drive the development of new promotional programs and help identify marketing best practices within and outside of the gaming industry to effectively promote our products
    • Work closely with our Product Dev team to understand the development roadmap, identify key selling points and provide recommendations for marketing plans and support
    • Collaborate with game, UA, 1st Party, CRM, PR, and other cross-functional teams to deliver fully integrated marketing plans
    • Spearhead player communication for upcoming releases/promotions on relevant social channels, not limited to Discord, Reddit, and others.
    • Conduct competitive marketing analyses to provide sound marketing recommendations and to help drive long-term strategic planning
  • Creative Positioning and Asset Development
    • Ensure consumer messaging and positioning are optimized throughout the product’s lifecycle and remain consistent across all channels and campaigns
    • Lead and guide the audience and creative strategy, budget setting, industry tracking, test & learn agenda, measurement framework and collaborate with internal stakeholders to drive hypotheses and innovative media tactics that push the business forward
    • Collaborate with internal and external teams and lead the development of all marketing-related content, product and communication assets
  • KPI Development and Mastery
    • Identify understand, and master key performance indicators of business goal success such as CPA, ROAS, and k-factor among others.
    • Lead consistent testing efforts with the goal of improving user acquisition efforts: A/B Creative Tests, Landing Page Tests, Audience Tests, etc.
    • Monitor budgets and performance across all campaigns and partners and report on campaign effectiveness and performance to key stakeholders



Who We Think Will Be a Great Fit:

  • Experience launching successful Free-to-play games
  • 7 years product marketing experience with at least 3 years marketing free to play titles
  • Demonstrated marketing & strategic analysis skills with an ability to map an understanding of business drivers
  • Demonstrated ability to take ownership and responsibility for projects
  • Anticipates problems and then guides the teams as necessary
  • Does what it takes to get the job done
  • Rally partners and cross functional teams to strive to achieve the desired business goals
