The Overwatch League is seeking an Associate Brand Manager to help support the brand marketing team in executing the integrated global marketing strategy, advertising/media campaigns, creative development, promotional efforts, and owned and operated platforms. This person should be passionate about implementing global marketing campaigns that drive viewership and acquire/retain loyal, engaged fans. The ABM will manage the day-to-day owned and operated channels as well as interactions with internal Blizzard publishing team members to activate and execute marketing support for the League, alongside the Brand Manager and brand team.
The ideal candidate is an enthusiastic steward of brand marketing with excellent verbal and written communication skills and experience in the gaming, sports, entertainment, or lifestyle industries. 
This position is based in Irvine, CA and will report to the Brand Manager for the Overwatch League.

  • Help develop and implement OWL global marketing strategies and plans; focused on driving viewership, acquiring new fans, and enhancing engagement with current fanbase.
  • Execute the integrated marketing plans across owned and operated channels.
  • Review and approve creative developed internally, from sponsors, network partners, and regional offices.
  • Be the live communications point person to proactively chase and relay updates to global integrated marketing team in HQ as well as the regions.
  • Work with external marketing and branding partners such as agencies with smooth and efficient communication.
  • Project-manage all brand marketing initiatives, ensuring deliverables are executed on time with required approvals.
  • Organize Overwatch League Global Publishing calendar and assist in scheduling meetings.


  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, advertising, communications, or related field.
  • 3+ years’ experience in consumer brand marketing and/or agency experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects simultaneously; strong organizational skills.
  • Experience launching marketing and advertising campaigns for gaming, esports, entertainment, or consumer brands.
  • Excellent written and verbal business communications skills.
  • Able to thrive in a heavily cross-functional environment.
