The Assistant, Partnership Marketing Branded Entertainment
is responsible for the creation of marketing materials, managing the day to day
support of existing and new sponsorships that support Macy’s promotional
efforts on a national level. Additionally, the Coordinator will support the
execution of marketing and advertising strategies for all iconic events.  The position will interface with creative, media partners, finance and external vendor partners.  Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Partner and collaborate at all levels within Macy’s to
    develop national marketing programs.
  • Assist in the research, strategic development, procurement
    and fulfillment of sponsorships for key Macy’s campaign planning and event
  • Foster strong working relationships with key internal and
    external stakeholders, while serving as a strategic marketing partner providing
    day-to-day integration and coordination of programs.
  • Guide the creation of presentation materials, marketing
    proposals and post-event recaps.
  • Supervise client contact lists, sponsor status reports and
    sponsor database.
  • Support advertising process for larger iconic event
    campaigns by creating briefs and gathering proper sign off from internal and
    external partners.  Work with creative
    and project management teams to ensure timely approvals and delivery of all
    collateral and advertising. Maintain and update marketing/advertising calendar
    for all events.
  • Source new and different promotional items for each event by
    building on relationships with various vendors to secure competitive pricing
    and timely delivery. Maintain files of promotional ideas. Work with manager to
    oversee all promotional and collateral budgets.
  • Documentation – Organize and maintain MPEG photo/collateral
    archives.  Hire and outline shot-lists
    for photographers for our events. Manage all photo requests for larger team.
  • Manage ancillary projects and endeavors that affect the
    Branded Entertainment Team.
  • Regular, dependable attendance and punctuality.



  • Bachelor’s degree with 2 + years experience developing and
    executing promotions and marketing plans preferably on a national level.
  • Experience in developing dynamic presentation materials,
    proposals and post-event recaps.
  • Vibrant personality with natural sales abilities.
  • Cold calling experience resulting in the generation of new
    business leads and cultivation of strong relationships; able to make a
    compelling pitch for concepts, events and/or promotions.
  • Creative thinker with knowledge of event advertising.
  • Expertise in Excel, Illustrator & PowerPoint.
  • Excellent verbal, written, organizational and interpersonal
  • Ability to build rapport and credibility with internal and
    external business partners.
  • Basic math functions such as addition, subtraction,
    multiplication, and division skills
  • Enthusiasm for working as a member of a creative team with
    entrepreneurial spirit and a dedicated work ethic.
  • Ability to work independently, manage several on-going
    projects simultaneously.
  • Physical Demands:
  • This position involves regular walking, standing, sitting
    for extended periods of time, hearing, and talking.
  • May occasionally involve stooping, kneeling, or crouching.
  • May involve close vision, color vision, depth perception,
    focus adjustment, and viewing computer monitor for extended periods of time.
  • Involves manual dexterity for using keyboard, mouse, and
    other office equipment.
  • May involve moving or lifting items under 10 pounds
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule based on department and
    company needs.
  • Ability to work key holidays and off-hours as needed.
