Title: Partner Development Manager, California (Temp-Remote)



Primary Function:
To acquire new partner relationships with community, corporate and government organizations in a specific territory.

MUST LIVE IN ONE OF THE FOLLOWING: Sacramento, CA; San Francisco Bay Area, CA; San Jose, CA.

Job Type: Full-time

  • Generate revenue to meet and exceed annual individual and organizational fundraising goals
  • Implement the prospect and development strategy for the assigned geographic region in collaboration with the Partner Development Director and VP Partnerships
  • Continuously identify new prospects with shared values to build a strong pipeline and develop new partner relationships
  • Receive and respond to viable inbound inquiries from potential partners within the region.
  • Collaborate and coordinate with Operation Warm departments (Account Management, Marketing, Program Implementation, Customer Service, Accounting) to ensure the execution of all obligations to partners
  • Provide regular updates to manager on accounts and contribute to monthly forecasting process
  • Follow established outreach protocol and accurately maintain all records in Salesforce
  • Create and deliver engaging formal presentations to potential partners in small and large scale environments
  • Represent Operation Warm at in-person and virtual conferences and networking events
  • Attend and coordinate Operation Warm in-person managed events
  • Qualifications

    Knowledge Skill, and Ability Requirements:

  • 3 years of strong outreach sales experience with a consistent track record of hitting or exceeding goals
  • Experience working in high-growth, performance focused environments
  • Experience in preparing, presenting to an executive audience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail oriented with well-developed organization skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work well with a team
  • Must be flexible and adaptable
  • Ability to organize and manage customer expectations and deliverables
  • Ability to think on your feet and problem solve in real-time
  • Demonstrate an independent drive to succeed
  • Positive Attitude
  • Commitment to mission
  • Expertise with Microsoft Office products
  • Salesforce or other CRM experience required
  • Spanish language skills preferred
  • Non-profit CSR or Development experience required

  • Education and Experience Requirements:

  • BA or BS undergraduate degree, 3 years partner/account development or donor/client-facing experience.

  • Special Requirements:

    Ability to travel within the U.S. and Canada as needed (~20%)
