Title: Membership Associate / Manager
About the opportunity:
The L.A. Office is looking for a Membership Associate/Manager that will help manage the Corporate Membership program and related activities. Corporate Membership helps bring the marketing community together across entertainment companies (film, tv/streaming, music, gaming, live entertainment, and more), brands, and non-profit organizations, sparking connections and highlighting initiatives to inspire new marketing partnerships.
The Membership Associate/Manager will spearhead day-to-day communications and maintain relationships with Corporate Members and ensure that we are staying up-to-date on their priorities/partnerships and highlighting their initiatives to our community via MarketingPartnerships.com and LastCall.news.
A background in partnership marketing and promotions, excellent communication and organizational skills, and digital experience are essential. This role is perfect for those who have 2-4 years of agency/studio marketing experience and has the desire to immerse themselves into the world of entertainment and brand partnerships.
What You’ll Do:
Corporate Membership Activities
Create and maintain day-to-day relationships with Corporate Members and stay up-to-date on all their needs, priorities, and activities to ensure they are highlighted to our marketing community
Ensure we are connecting with members on a regular basis, maximizing their member benefits, and properly tracking activities
Connecting Members with other members, event attendees, and friends of The L.A. Office who may become potential partners and lead to new promotional opportunities
Introduce new members to The L.A. Office, MarketingPartnerships.com, and LastCall.news
Work with all members on event participation (sponsorship, event materials, attendance, registration, etc.)
Involvement with MarketingPartnerships.com and LastCall.news content, research, and promotion
Manage and encourage constant exposure for our Corporate Members across our channels
Plan out member content in the LastCall.news brief
Maintain, refresh, and update online content (opportunities, promotions, TV spots, etc.)
Identify partnership success stories and highlight them to the community
Encourage involvement in promotional and synergistic opportunities via RoadShow On-Demand, Member Spotlights, event participation, online prizing and promotional activities, and more
Research industry news and updates and contribute content to LastCall.news brief and site (news articles, press releases, and blogs)
Monitor websites to ensure they are usable and bug-free
General site admin (assisting with logins, member contact updates, corporate membership upgrades, etc.)
Identify and research leads and contacts for potential new Corporate Members
Assist in outreach to potential new Corporate Members
Involvement in event planning and execution
Assist with consulting clients on marketing partnerships strategy and outreach
The ability to “go with the flow” is a must and the successful applicant will jump in quickly and learn about our events, MarketingPartnerships.com, and the general services and benefits that we offer.
What you’ll bring:
2-4 years of experience of marketing experience at an agency or entertainment company
A knowledge and understanding of entertainment marketing/partnerships
A detail-oriented team player with the ability to manage multiple projects/priorities with minimal supervision
Self-motivated, energetic, and positive personality with a willingness to "roll-up your sleeves" and deliver results for our members
Excellent writing/editing skills along with strong all-around communication, presentation, and project management skills
Excellent time management skills with the ability to organize, prioritize, and consolidate tasks
Strong digital background
Experience with the Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Forms, OneNote, Teams)
Experience with Salesforce and WordPress is a huge plus
Desire to suggest and implement new administrative/organizational techniques
