About the opportunity:


The Singleton Foundation is looking for a candidate to help manage strategic alliances/partnerships and their related programs and activities for the Foundation overall as well as partners specific to Million Stories Media, one of Singleton Foundation's key initiatives. The position will spearhead day-to-day management and communications and maintain relationships with the Foundation’s assigned partners and ensure that they are staying up to date on news and content of the foundation and provide any partnership servicing needs, including but not limited to, providing assets, analytics, and other information they may need as part of the partnership.


A background in partnership marketing, promotions, and new business development along with excellent communication and organizational skills, and digital experience are essential. This role is perfect for those who have 5+ years of agency, studio, or partner marketing experience and are passionate about working for and with nonprofits and organizational partners focused on social good. This position provides a strong opportunity for growth within the department and the Foundation itself and collaborates across departmental functions, including production, marketing, creative and the different initiatives of the Foundation.


Responsibilities:




  • Running the Partnership Department on a day to day basis




  • Participating in internal meetings representing partnerships





  • Serve as the main point of contact for all day-to-day partnership needs for assigned corporate partners.


  • Oversee partnerships for the Foundation’s Community Commitment Initiative



  • Work with Supervisor on developing partnership strategy and new business development. 

  • Review partner analytics and develop plans for growing and maximizing partner engagement across Foundation initiatives and across internal divisions of Marketing, PR and Content.

  • Respond to new business partnership inquiries and evaluate their viability.

  • Research potential new prospects to ensure they meet partnership criteria.

  • Conduct research and outreach to identify prospect contact information and to set initial meetings to explore opportunities. Participate in brainstorming with supervisor and internal teams on prospective new partners.

  • Manage partnership activation for national and regional partnership campaigns, program sponsors, content and nonprofit partners, with oversight from supervisor.

  • Oversee partnership fulfillment and tracking. Develop partnership reports as needed. Shepherd partnership announcements, content, activations, etc. through internal review and approval process. Track status and communicate to partners approvals/revisions/feedback on an ongoing basis.

  • Maintain and nurture assigned partnership relationships.

  • Connect partners with other internal teams or external partners that can lead to new promotional opportunities.

  • Assist in the drafting and routing of contracts for business partnerships, with finance and supervisor oversight.

  • Record and update partnership status/activities in a database accurately and in a timely manner.

  • Develop and draft powerpoint presentations for prospective partners and internal teams.

Qualifications

Required qualifications:

  • Outstanding communication skills, both oral and written.

  • Outstanding follow up and organizational skills.

  • Ability to work quickly, and in a timely manner to capitalize on opportunities.

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferable in business or marketing related field of study.

  • 5+ years work experience in partnerships management, promotions or client services

  • Experience with analytics tracking and reporting.

  • Strong Powerpoint or Keynote skills

  • Experience creating and making presentations to prospective partners and new business development.

  • Experience in a fast-paced, and dynamic environment, with a willingness to stay flexible and multitask across many different projects.

  • Experience with YouTube, and web analytics.

  • Qualified candidates must practice nonpartisanship in the work environment and practice the discipline of putting aside one’s personal beliefs at work or when representing the Foundation to ensure that our work is objective, balanced and accessible.


Preferred qualifications



  • Partnership Marketing Experience

  • Experience with TikTok, Instagram analytics

  • Experience with nonprofit or social benefit organizations

  • New business development experience
