Title: Marketing Manager



Currently, we have an opening for a Marketing Manager to help support our Global Brand Marketing objectives.

You will serve as the point-person for development and execution of marketing initiatives for your assigned brands. You will be integral in managing activations, budgets, setting KPIs and presenting growth opportunities.


  • Develop and execute the Brand Marketing Plans in partnership with the Global Brand Manager driving consistent brand strategy for the US and Global Markets

  • Leverages consumer insights to develop strategy -- informing creative briefs and ensuring the brand voice is consistent across all marketing mediums

  • Research global customer and consumer trends as well as competitive landscapes

  • Develop, execute, analyze, and recap brand marketing plans with agency partners, including but not limited to advertising, promotion, sampling, public relations, social media, email, web, and in-store

  • Deliver short-term and long-term strategic marketing planning and timelines

  • Collaborate with the brand management team to set awareness and engagement goals

  • Manage the creative brief process for campaigns to develop positioning, integrated content, asset needs & timelines

  • Build a strong collaborative partnership with cross-functional team members and outside partners

  • Work closely with sales team to recognize areas of opportunity and improvement both in the US and appropriate markets around the world

  • Recommend and conduct retailer and consumer market research in partnership with Marketing Research Manager in the form of surveys, focus groups, play testing, store walks etc.

  • As the “brand champion” manage the brand’s reputation and maintain brand integrity across all company marketing initiatives, communication, and international partners

  • Participate in new business planning and presentations



You are an experienced marketer that can bring cross-functional team members together to achieve one common goal. You are keenly aware of the world around you and look for ways to learn from it. You can figure things out and creatively and positively respond to pressure beyond your control and still make things happen. You are trend-savvy and think broadly about the competitive landscape. You experiment and take risks, even when there is a chance of failure. You're comfortable searching outside formal boundaries to improve the status quo. You are a proactive, high energy, collaborative, and responsive team member with both a strong creative, financial acumen and strategic-based judgment.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Advertising, or related field

  • 5+ years of progressive experience supporting fully integrated marketing programs

  • Experience in craft, activity and toy or entertainment brands strongly preferred


  • Strong research and analytical skills: Ability to manage a large amount of data and research and summarize, drawing valid conclusions and recommendations

  • Highly creative and resourceful with the ability to find new sources of information

  • Strong verbal and written presentation skills

  • Ability to demonstrate positive, confident, enthusiastic, and energetic behaviors

  • Ability to prioritize according to deadlines

  • Working knowledge of computer software including MS Office and Internet

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • In-depth understanding of the industry

  • Budget-management skills and proficiency

  • Ability to identify trends and apply them appropriately

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

LOCATION: Ideally you are willing to relocate to a city that is drivable to one of our corporate offices: Beloit, WI, Bloomfield Hills, MI on a regular basis, but a hybrid of remote and travel will be considered.
