Position: Royalty Analyst

Report to: Licensing Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Process and compile data for royalty report preparation.


• Prepare and manage the templates for royalty reports.


• Keep a detailed timetable of reporting responsibilities.


• Send reminders and contact licensees/agents to ensure reports are collected according to schedule.


• Review incoming royalty reports, and communicate with licensees/agents if necessary for accuracy and appropriateness.


• Review royalty statements against contractual terms.


• Calculate royalty payable, prepaid royalty amortization, and production costs for quarterly/yearly close.


• Create and maintain ad-hoc and standard monthly management reports.


• Work with licensees/agents for AR and Minimum Guarantee collections.


• Work with internal/external parties to implement, operate and manage royalty/accounting software and systems.


• Arrange trade and tax documents


• Support Licensing Team to obtain approvals and signatures for new deals (i.e., Legal Affairs, Credit and third-party trademark owners) until they are finalized.


• Input data in the company’s system to manage contractual and payment information.


• Runs various contract status reports on a regular basis.


• Support Licensing Team with administrating documents for trademark registrations, renewals and claims to third party’s applications.


• Undertaking all other tasks as allocated by the Licensing Manager and Managing Director


• Continuously support and share best practices internally


• Additional duties as assigned
