About the Role

Reporting to the VP, Global Retail Development, the Retail Development Manager will liaise between the Retail, Category and Marketing to ensure in-store and on-line execution is achieved for Peanuts programs. This role will also partner with each category lead to gather and manage information across Peanuts retail placement, with exposure to International and Marketing also.


  • Liaise between Retail, Category and Marketing to ensure in-store and on-line execution is achieved for Peanuts programs

  • Manage the “show to shelf” process, time-lines and deliverables for strategic initiatives

  • Partner with Marketing to create/manage sales sheet to be used by both Retail and Category for sell-in

  • Collaborate with Marketing/Retail/Category/International to develop quarterly newsletter highlighting the brand and sales success stories

  • Manage licensee list

  • Manage content calendar in collaboration with Marketing

  • Aggregate quarterly placement reports, with information provided by Category leads

  • Manage brand registry for Amazon

  • Assist with publishing catalog



  • Requires experience working at either a brand in direct brand management or product licensing, or at a licensee in an account management capacity

  • Broad retail experience, with knowledge of product development, merchandising, retail/sales development, licensing/contracts.  Amazon experience helpful.

  • Motivated self-starter who demonstrates strong initiative, creativity, and excellent work ethic 

  • Flexible team player with ability to work collaboratively across the company and with senior level executives

  • Strong organizational skills and ability to think strategically to complete tasks in a timely fashion 

  • Exceptional verbal, written and interpersonal skills 

  • Creative problem solver that acts decisively and demonstrates good judgement 

  • Thrives in a fast paced, changing environment that necessitates working on many projects simultaneously 

  • Proven ability to effectively manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment

  • College degree, preferably in Business or related field 

  • Must be proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint are all required)
