Founded in 2002, Operation Homefront is a national nonprofit organization whose mission is to build strong, stable, and secure military families so they can thrive, not simply struggle to get by, in the communities they have worked so hard to protect. Operation Homefront is sourcing candidates for a Manager, Business Development position.


This position supports the Business Development team in identifying, prospecting, acquiring, and sustaining corporate partnerships to drive organizational cash and in-kind revenue nationally. They will devise prospect outreach strategies, utilize prospecting software to develop email outreach campaigns, manage campaign analytics, and stay current on market conditions/trends that may impact prospecting. They will collaborate with various channels (i.e. Marketing, Integrated Public Relations, Partner Engagement, Regions) to cultivate new relationships and onboard national partners. They will also provide updates to the corporate pipeline, prepare and present proposals and presentations for prospects and donors, negotiate agreement terms, generate contracts, and assist in managing partnerships with excellence.


Primary job duties include:



  • Responsible for identifying, prospecting, and acquiring corporate partnerships to support the organization’s multi-million dollar corporate sales strategy. Grows cash and in-kind revenue nationally.  

  • Collaborate closely with other departments (Marketing, IPR, Partner Engagement, Regions) to devise prospect outreach strategies. Coordinate with Partnership Marketing to ensure successful on-boarding of all new national corporate partners.

  • Coordinate and facilitate donor meetings, prepare and present leading emails, proposals and presentations for partners, and negotiate contract terms and agreements. 

  • Develop prospecting strategies, oversee campaign analytics and maintain corporate pipelines.

  • Performs other duties, as assigned.

Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree desired; degree in business or marketing a plus.

  • 2-4 years in marketing, sales, and/or account management.

  • Superior knowledge regarding the practices and principles of corporate partnerships and cause marketing in a non-profit environment

  • Excellent writer and communicator   

  • Valid driver’s license

  • Acceptable MVR (annual)

  • Criminal background check

  • MS Office Programs

  • Research databases
