On December 10, 2020, video game creators, celebrities and millions of gamers around the world gathered virtually to watch the 2020 Game Awards. Game developers, esports players and teams, voice actors, and content creators were all recognized for their achievements and hard work in 2020.

Microsoft studio The Initiative revealed the return of the classic shooter series Perfect Dark. The announcement marks the return of the popular series after almost 15 years. Perfect Dark takes place in a far-flung future world that was torn apart by ecological disasters.
This year the team at Nintendo is celebrating Mario’s 35th Anniversary! The London Philharmonic joined in on the celebration at the Game Awards by playing the classic songs from the Mario franchises over the years.
