FOR THE LOVE OF THE GAME

Available worldwide, VALORANT is a competitive 5v5 character-based tactical shooter and is always evolving based on player feedback. Over the past year, VALORANT has launched three new agents, a new map, numerous premium weapons skins, and hosted esports events across the globe with the VALORANT Champions Tour (VCT) and VCT Game Changers Championship.

TEAMING UP FOR SUCCESS

Amazon and Riot have worked together for years to reward gamers, including monthly Prime Gaming drops for Riot Games’ titles, including League of Legends, VALORANT, Wild Rift, Legends of Runeterra, and more, as well as sponsorships for major moments like VCT and the League of Legends Worlds Championship. Through these collaborations, Amazon and Riot have rewarded millions of gamers around the world, delivering thousands of dollars of value for nearly all of Riot’s most popular games.

“We’re thrilled to partner with Amazon and the folks at Crown Channel to co-host the RE//LOAD event experience for our VALORANT community,” said Nikki Lewis, Senior Director of Brand Marketing at Riot Games. “VALORANT lives at the intersection of competitive gaming and up-and-coming music, so partnering with Amazon’s Crown Channel to throw an in-person event like RE//LOAD — both a gaming event, starring some of VALORANT’s fan-favorite streamers, and a music event, featuring rising artists like Mike Dimes, Jae Park, and Dabin — was a no-brainer.”

In January 2021, Riot Games and Amazon’s Crown Channel hosted wwFEST to celebrate VALORANT with an art and music festival, which saw millions from around the world tune in to enjoy live performances from artists, dancers and musicians such as Madeon, Whipped Cream, Moore Kismet and others, paired with incredible VFX and animations from the game. Cutting-edge drone technology allowed viewers to create their own immersive festival experience with unique drone feeds, each representing a different VALORANT agent.

“Following the success of wwFest, Amazon is thrilled to continue our long standing partnership with Riot Games and to bring another incredible live event, hosted by Crown Channel, to the VALORANT community,” said Sallie Hirsch, Crown Channel General Manager. “With RE//LOAD, our goal is to deliver a world-class celebration of yet another fantastic year for one of gaming’s most passionate communities. We’re excited for everyone to see what we have in store!”

Be sure to tune in on December 16 for a celebration of all things VALORANT and for your chance to win some great giveaways. Start playing VALORANT now by visiting playvalorant.com.
