2019 Holiday Give Back Campaign and Various Partners

Every Purchase Matters

Nationwide Children’s Hospital is supported by so many incredible brands this holiday season. You can support our patients & families with a donation at these retailers who give back to the hospital.  Support & Shop

Shopping for Clothes? Support the Emergency Clothing Closet

Every day, our patients and families experience situations that cause their clothing to be damaged and they arrive at the hospital with nothing extra to wear. You can help by donating items to our Emergency Clothes Closet. Donated items must be appropriate for youth and teens and new with tags attached or in original packaging.  Learn How You Can Help

Shopping for Toys? Donate to our Toy Drive Fund!

A gift of toys, games or activity supplies can make a big difference to children and families spending time in the hospital. Make a gift to our Toy Drive Fund and we’ll do the shopping and purchase items from our toy donation wish list on your behalf. Let us do the shopping!

Help our patients and families by donating items on our Amazon wish list. If you would like to purchase toys and other items from our Amazon wish list, the items will be sent directly to the hospital. Amazon Wish List

Holiday Toy Drive
Dec. 7, 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.
Nationwide Children’s will collect new toys and gift cards during the annual toy drive on Dec. 7 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Visit the Wish List for the Top 10 needed items by patients and staff. Items also can be donated via Amazon’s Wish List and will be delivered directly to the hospital. Please no clothes or food. During the first two hours, Harlem Globetrotter and Columbus native Zeus McClurkin will be on hand to greet supporters as they drop off their gifts. Donations can be dropped off at the Nationwide Children’s Outpatient Care Center, located at 555 S. 18th St.

For those who can’t attend the Toy Drive, Nationwide Children’s will accept holiday donations from 9 a.m.-6 p.m. Monday-Thursday and 9 a.m.-4:30 p.m. on Fridays.

The latest the hospital can accept holiday toy donations is noon Dec. 20. Gifts cannot be accepted from Dec. 21-Jan. 1. Drop-offs will resume on Jan. 2 at the main hospital tower entrance.

Cheer on The Harlem Globetrotters
The Harlem Globetrotters have teamed up with the On Our Sleeves™ movement to transform children’s mental health. Globetrotter showman Hammer Harrison designed an arm sleeve to be worn throughout the season that features the design and icon elements of the On Our Sleeves platform. For the first time in Globetrotters history, a shooting sleeve is available for sale in youth and adult sizes. Tickets for the Dec. 29 games at 1 p.m. and 6 p.m. can be purchased here.

Tween fashion, merchandise and accessory retailer Justice, along with their associates and customers, are supporting Nationwide Children’s through their in-store campaign through Jan. 4. Every dollar raised supports new breakthroughs and advancements in pediatric research at the hospital.

Panera Bread®
During the month of November, central Ohio Panera customers will have an opportunity to round up their purchase in support of On Our Sleeves, the movement to transform pediatric mental health.

Donatos® and Cheryl’s® (67 Central Ohio Donatos Locations)
Through their annual Sweetness of the Holidays campaign, Donatos will offer the Nationwide Children’s Butterfly cookie baked by Cheryl’s in restaurants and online from Nov. 19 through Jan 6. When patrons buy a Cheryl’s cookie for $1.50, all proceeds will support lifesaving research and care. Fifty cents from every bottle of Aquafina water sold at Donatos also benefits the hospital.

Give Kids a Someday Holiday Campaign
Now through the end of the year, the central Ohio community can donate to the Nationwide Children’s Hospital Foundation annual holiday campaign. No amount is too small and will help continue the life-saving research and care at the hospital.

Shop for a Cause
The Nationwide Children’s Hospital Foundation e-store has a variety of items for purchase throughout the holiday season. From the On Our Sleeves, “I Break Stigmas” t-shirt to specially-designed holiday cards and ornaments, shopping at the e-store is an opportunity to help kids everywhere.
