Description:

The Albertsons chain of grocery stores teamed with the app Pinterest for a recipe integration partnership.

The partnership, which rolled out at the start of 2020, consisted of a Pinterest-enabled shelf-edge media platform at Albertsons locations.

Combining  in-store and mobile elements, Albertsons shoppers could see a tag next to a product's price with a photo of the final recipe creation taken directly from Pinterest. The customer could then access Pinterest on their phone, snap a picture of the tag and be redirected to the official Albertsons' Pinterest page, where the recipe could be found along with the signature product as well as others available at Albertsons.
