In 2022 EG America selected the American Cancer Society for a month-long point-of-sale campaign engaging all 1,600+ of their nationwide convenience store brands including Turkey Hill, Kwik Shop, ​Loaf ‘N Jug, Tom Thumb, Quick Stop, Minit Mart, ​Cumberland Farms, Fastrac, and Certified Oil.

Customers were asked to donate to ACS at the register in denominations of $1, $3, or a custom amount.  In order to help build employee support around the campaign, ACS provided mission content and resources to EG Team Members with the opportunity for them to share their cancer stories. To connect with their consumers in the community, a targeted social media promotion plan was put in place that drove foot traffic into stores and increased impact and overall sales.

By giving their customers and employees the opportunity to make a difference in the fight against cancer, EG America’s month-long campaign raised more than $640,000 to help improve the lives of people with cancer and their families.
