Fox Broadcasting Company and Kellogg''s partnered to promote the television show, AMERICAN IDOL. On specially marked packages of Pop Tarts was an instant win game to ''Attend an American Idol Recording Session''. The game piece was printed inside the box and indicated whether or not the consumer was a winner. Five grand prize winners won a trip to Los Angeles and became part of a recording session of an AMERICAN IDOL finalist with $1000 spending cash. Other prizes included Signed T-Shirts and AMERICAN IDOL CDs. The promotion ended September 30, 2005.
