Endemol Shine Brand Partnership Group and the American Girl doll brand, a subsidiary of Mattel, have launched a cross-promotion with the reality competition series "MasterChef Junior" and the upcoming DVD movie AN AMERICAN GIRL: GRACE STIRS UP SUCCESS.

The partnership kicked off Tuesday February 17th 2015 on a new episode of "MasterChef Junior" on Fox that introduced American Girl’s 2015 Girl of the Year and featured a sneak peek of the new film.

In the film, Thomas (played by Olivia Rodrigo) comes face to face with judge Joe Bastianich when she is a contestant on "MasterChef Junior." The movie was filmed on the "MasterChef" set and will be released on DVD from Universal Pictures Home Entertainment this summer.
