Ubisoft`s ASSASSIN`S CREED III partnered Rock the Vote, a non-partisan registration organization, to bring voter registration to colleges nationwide. With ASSASSIN`S CREED`S stateside setting, Ubisoft`s Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing Tony Key, stated that the partnership was about giving young people a chance to be heard. Rock the Vote also created "Art of the Assassin", a traveling exhibit that showcased original works inspired by the game. The tour began on August 23, 2012 and ended on October 30,2012 with an auction that gave consumers a chance to bid on the works, and proceeds going to Rock the Vote. Additionally, Rock the Vote`s Road Trip, had musical performances and voter registration to colleges across the nation, and provided students and young voters with a chance to experience ASSASSIN`S CREED III prior to its October 30 launch. ASSASSIN`S CREED III released on October 30.
