Description:

General Motors partnered with MGM to promote the theatrical release of BE COOL. The team held a contest in which participants submitted a homemade film lasting five seconds or less. The Cadillac Under 5 Contest began on February 6, 2005 and ended February 17, 2005. Submitted films had to meet the following criteria: 5 seconds or less, a format of Quick Time, MPEG, WMV, or AVI, movies could be in color or black and white, and the file size could not exceed 6 MB. Films were entered into one of five categories including Comedy, Drama, Mystery, Biography, or Action/Adventure and were judged by a panel which included celebrities from the movie BE COOL. The winner of the contest received a new 2005 Cadillac CTS-V and their film was shown as part of a Cadillac commercial.
