Description:

Best Friends Animal society partnered with TikTok on the inaugural #CreateForACause campaign. The campaign generated awareness and raised funds for the Best Friends Animal Society, DoSomething.org, and Oceana charities. 

The campaign encouraged users to create videos on Tiktok using special filters and stickers to show their support for the three charities. For every video created or shared using the filters, a donation was made to the charities.

Celebrities Khloe Kardashian, Halsey, Nick Jonas, Peyton List and Nina Dobrev also participated in the campaign.

To show their commitment, TikTok donated $2,000,000 to the three charities with the campaign raising an additional $2,000,000.

Audiences were able to engage with Best Friends Animal Society in new and interesting ways, bringing them new fans and a broader audience.  The #CreateForACause hashtag at one point in the campaign was trending with over 202 million views.

For their part, Best Friends Animal Society and TikTok were presented with the Golden Halo Award the program.
