Description:

Blockbuster partnered with Airbnb on a promotion that turned the last Blockbuster store location into an Airbnb rental for a limited-time.

Blockbuster collaborated with Airbnb to redesign the location as a 1990s living room, with a foldout bed and themed bedding.

Airbnb listed the property on August 17 at 4pm EST. It was made available for three-night reservations from September 18-20. Each reservation allowed up to four people to sleep over within special quarantine pods in the location. Bookings cost $4 which was consistent with Blockbuster's pricing of movie rentals.

Due to safety concerns, only residents of the store's local area were eligible to book.
