Warner Bros. Pictures and Hostess partnered to promote the home entertainment release of CHARLIE AND THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY. On specially marked packages of Wonka Cakes was an offer to receive a limited edition light-up yo-yo by mail. To receive the offer, consumers sent in a completed form printed inside the package, two official UPC bar code symbols and a check or money order made payable to "Wonka Yo-Yo Offer" for $2.99 for shipping and handling. The offer was available until December 31, 2005.
