Sony Pictures?partnered with Feeding America and Sprouts for the theatrical release of CLOUDY WITH A CHANCE OF MEATBALLS 2. The Feeding America PSA video featured characters from the film and information on how to help be involved in the fight against hunger by working with Feeding America. Sprouts Farmers Market hosted a fundraising campaign benefiting Feeding America with shopper donations at the checkout. During the month of September the first 100 customers who donated at each Sprout store received an official ?LOUDY WITH A CHANCE OF MEATBALLS 2?movie poster. The campaign continued with Facebook sweepstakes and plush toy ?oodimals?available for purchase at Sprouts starting September 24, 2013. The film release coincided with Hunger Action Month when the Feeding America network of more than 200 food banks advocates on behalf of those who are food insecure and raises awareness of the issue of hunger in America. CLOUDY WITH A CHANCE OF MEATBALLS 2 released in theatres September 27, 2013.
