Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival 2019 partnered with Bose to provide festival attendees with a first-of-its-kind augmented reality experience.

Bose Frames, the augmented reality sunglasses developed by Bose and Goldenvoice, collaborated with Coachella to become the exclusive wearable technology provider of the festival.

The official Coachella smartphone app was enhanced with exclusive new features made possible by Bose AR. Wearers of its Bose Frames sunglasses, which were specially equipped with miniature speakers and a Bluetooth connection, received access to exclusive audio content and festival updates such as notifications when artists were about to take the stage.

The open-ear design of the Bose Frames allowed Coachella-goers to enjoy exclusive festival content and listen to their own music in between performances without missing out on any aspect of the Coachella experience.

The Bose Frames were available at merchandise tents at the festival as well as on Bose's website beforehand.
