ABC Television teamed up with Dove to promote DANCING WITH THE STARS through the Dove® Close-Up Challenge. Contestants submitted videos showing why they were ready for their big close-up using Dove’s VisibleCare? Body Wash. The winner had the opportunity to dance in a commercial that aired during the season finale of DANCING WITH THE STARS. The prize package also included a trip to Los Angeles, an intensive training session with a DANCING WITH THE STARS performer, and an opportunity to meet former contestant Jennie Garth. The promotion ran Q1 2011.
