Columbia Records and Maybelline teamed up to promote the artist, DELTA GOODREM. U.S. residents 18 years of age or older who to logged on to www.maybelline.com/difference and entered the "Born to Make a Difference" Contest had a chance to bring DELTA GOODREM to their hometown. Contestants had to write about how they or someone they know is making a difference. One winner won a benefit event in their town, starring DELTA GOODREM, a $10,000 donation to the affiliated charity, and a chance to be featured in a subsequent Maybelline New York promotional ad in People Magazine. The contest ran from August 25 - September 13, 2005.
