Universal Pictures partnered with Land O'Frost for the theatrical release of DESPICABLE ME 2. Land O'Frost hosted an online sweepstakes entitled, "One In A MINION Game." To participate, consumer found game pieces inserted in specially-marked packages of Land O'Frost premium, DeliShaved and Minis products. Each Land O'Frost "One In A MINION Game" game piece contained a promotion code to then be entered online at landomoms.com/oneinaminion. One grand prize winner received a MINION Trip to Hollywood, CA with VIP access to a Hollywood theme partk for four. The grand prize included air transportation and hotel accommodations, a bus tour of Hollywood, a back-lot tour of a Hollywood movie studio, and lunch with Minion costumed characters. 200 first prize winners recieved either an iPhone 4/4S, iPhone 5, or iPod Touch device cover and 200 second prize winners received one MINION Lunch Box. The promotion ran from April 28, 2013 through July 31, 2013. DESPICABLE ME 2 released in theaters July 3, 2013.
