Description:
Brown Shoe Co. signed a licensing agreement with Universal Studios Consumer Products Group to create a new line of footwear that featured the Cat in the Hat, Thing 1 and Thing 2, characters from the film version of DR. SEUSS` THE CAT IN THE HAT. Footwear was available beginning in August in major mass markets and other footwear retailers, with athletics, casuals and weather boots. The line also included adult and children`s slippers.
