In support of the release of DR. SEUSS’ THE CAT IN THE HAT, Kellogg's stuffed plush toys of characters Thing One and Thing Two into 20 million cereal boxes and promoted a “Free Room Cleaning for a Year” contest on 55 million packages of Rice Krispies, Froot Loops, Eggo Waffles, Pop Tarts and other products. Kellogg's also created a limited edition cereal that featured striped hats as well as a limited edition Popt Tart that featured blue frosting, striped filling and hat shaped crunchlets. Supported by TV and print ads, on-pack and online.
