DR. SEUSS' THE CAT IN THE HAT and Procter & Gamble


Procter & Gamble along with Universal Pictures joined forces to promote the DVD release of THE CAT IN THE HAT. The "Good Clean Fun" Sweepstakes entry form is located on the link, which was found on P&G`s home page. There are two ways to enter: Through the site or by mailing in information. Winners are selected by a random drawing. The Grand Prize winner received a $50,000 check to invest in the family or childs future. Second Prize won $10,000 toward a houseful of Maytag Appliances. The Third Prize winner received a check for $1,500. Consumers also had their chance to receive "Freebie Schmeebies." To reedem these prizes consumers purchased products from the five participating P&G brands: Mr. clean, Fabreeze, Swiffer, Cascade and Dawn. If all five were purchased, consumered collected an 18th-Month Activity Calendar plus the exclusive Dr. Seuss` THE CAT IN THAT Plush Toy Set that included the Cat In The Hat, Fish, Thing One, and Thing Two. To recieve them, the original cash register receipts and a payment of $4.99 S&H were required. When consumers purchase a product from four different participating brands and $2.50 S&H, they received the Teaching Responsibility Activity Calendar and an 8" Dr. Seuss` CAT IN THE HAT plush toy. With three purchased products and $1.30 S&H, they received the Teaching Responsibility Activity Calendar. All included a coupon for $2 off THE CAT IN THE HAT DVD. A DVD provided as well included the Good Clean Fun Tips booklet with coupons from participating brands plus a Teaching Responsibility Booklet and Magnet.
