Description:
Walt Disney Studios partnered with Accenture Interactive for a SXSW activation promoting the theatrical release of DUMBO.

The collaboration set out to create and unveil the movie poster of the future in which AI was able to use facial recognition technology to give another dimension to the official posters of DUMBO.

At a DUMBO activation set up during SXSW, Accenture Interactive used photography and facial recognition to have the motion posters express the emotion that the current viewer is feeling. Using it's technological tools, AI was able to recognize emotions from sad to happy and then have the imagery of DUMBO adjust to express that same emotion.

In addition to the booth set up during SXSW, Accenture Interactive and Disney also set up a booth on the red carpet at the film's premiere.
