Sony Screen Gems teamed up with E.l.f. Cosmetics to promote the theatrical release of EASY A. E.l.f. Cosmetics customers were able to enter a chance to win a hometown private screening of the film, a signed poster, and a $500 gift card. They also named a makeup collection the “Easy A Kit” which consisted of lip gloss, blush, and other beauty supplies. The E.l.f. Cosmetics website also featured the EASY A movie trailer. The promotion ran during Q3 2010.
