Pyrex cookware and the World Kitchen brand teamed up with Food Network and signed its first-ever endorsement deal, tapping chef Giada De Laurentiis for ads, a gift-with-purchase offer and a sweepstakes. The Giada Celebrity Dinner Sweepstakes awarded a dinner party hosted by De Laurentiis. Consumers entered starting March 2007 via mail or online; the sweeps ran through December 2007. A gift-with-purchase offer bundled a copy of Cooking with Pyrex, a cookbook featuring recipes created by De Laurentiis, with some Pyrex sets. De Laurentiis also appeared on Pyrex packaging. The endorsement deal ran through 2008.
