Until February 27th, fans could visit www.NeverGonnaGiveItUp.com and have the chance to win $1,000 cash and sing a duet with Rick Astley by sharing what they have chosen they will “never give up” in the New Year. You could also see all the official contest rules on the website.

In the promo video for the “New Year New You” campaign that premiered on December 25, Astley sings his classic song, “Never Gonna Give You Up” while emphasizing that there are many things in life that are not worth giving up. The basis of the campaign is for people to celebrate the things that make them happy, not choosing things that they would like to give up (A New Year’s “Un-Resolution”).
