Universal Pictures and Anheuser-Busch teamed up to promote the theatrical release of FUNNY PEOPLE with a sweepstakes. Adults over the age of 21 could enter the sweepstakes online at www.budlight.com or by texting FUNNY to 23377. Three Grand Prize winners received a trip for two to Los Angeles, CA and two tickets to attend the Hollywood premiere of FUNNY PEOPLE. The sweepstakes ran from June 1 through June 30, 2009. The Bud Light website hosted a trailer for the film and the promotion was supported by print ads in publications such as Entertainment Weekly.
