Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures and Major League Baseball (MLB) teamed up to promote the theatrical release of G-FORCE. The film was a sponsor of MLB All-Star balloting and the G-FORCE logo appeared on 20 million ballots distributed at the 30 MLB ballparks and over 100 Minor League ballparks across the country. G-FORCE promotional days were also held at 29 MLB clubs, centering on the balloting and featuring G-FORCE trading cards, trailers for the film, and prize giveaways during games in late June and early July. Additionally, a sweepstakes was held at http://disney.go.com/grandslam/. Registered Disney.com users could log on to the site to enter the sweepstakes. The first 1 million people to enter were eligible for a free movie ticket to see G-FORCE if a grand slam was hit in the 2009 MLB All-Star Game on July 14. Entry into the sweepstakes was open from April 22 through July 14, 2009. Attendees of the All-Star game in St. Louis' Busch Stadium also received a promotional card with a ticket code, good if a grand slam was hit. This was Major League Baseball’s biggest promotional deal with a film studio to date.
