Description:
HBO and dating app Bumble, along with agencies Mekanism and Giant Spoon, united to launch the "Stay at Home at the Movies" activation in New York City in August, 2018. The experience transformed a landmark Manhattan Brownstone building into five screening rooms, where invited Bumble members and their plus-one could enjoy select HBO movies, including WONDER WOMAN, GIRLS TRIP, BACK TO THE FUTURE and THE DEVIL WEARS PRADA.

As part of the activation, Bumble Date and Bumble BFF users in the New York-area received an in-app invitation to attend one of the movie screenings August 15 and 16. Beverages and snacks were provided, and the space featured custom art, props and interior design, all created specifically to encourage visitors to take pictures and share on social. Bumble users who "swiped right for HBO" also had the opportunity to win complimentary HBO NOW gift cards and other Bumble and HBO branded merchandise.
