Description:

Sanrio partnered with Cost Plus World Market in celebration of Hello Kitty's 45th birthday.

The partnership consisted of World Market opening up a Hello Kitty Pop-up store in New York City.  The shop was open from November 1st through December 24th.

The Pop-up shop had a mix of classic Hello Kitty toys and items not available in other locations, including ones flown in directly from Japan. There was also a character installation that fans could take pictures with. 

Some items were made available on World Market's Online store for the fans that couldn't make it to New York.
