Description:
Hilton partnered with Foursquare to offer its guests a new location-based feature called "Explore" in the Hilton Honors app that provided travelers with recommendations from local experts on the best activities and spots to discover near their hotel.

Starting November 12, 2018, travelers who had a confirmed booking with a Hilton property were able to use the Hilton Honors app to receive recommendations on everything from top restaurants to the most popular activities and destinations to see during their stay. Each recommendation included personalized tips like the best menu items to try, times to visit, and photos of what to expect.

Users were able to log into the feature and save recommendations to their favorites and create an itinerary before arriving to their destination. The new feature was available in 28 different markets including: New York, Chicago, Atlanta, Nashville, and Los Angeles. Hilton planned to expand the offering down the line.
