Paramount Pictures and Vespa teamed up to promote I LOVE YOU, MAN with the "How Far Would You Go For Your Bro Comment Contest." Eligible entrants first logged into their MySpace.com accounts and followed directions to become a "friend" of the I LOVE YOU, MAN official profile located at www.myspace.com/ILoveYouMan. Once they became a "friend" of the Website, eligible entrants clicked the "Add Comment" link on the Website to leave a comment about how far he/she would go for his/her best friend. There was a limit of one entry per MySpace account. A panel of judges determined the winning comment based on originality, humor and relation to the film. One Grand Prize winner received the Vespa LXV scooter used in making I LOVE YOU, MAN. The promotion began March 9 and ran through March 20, 2009.
