MySpace.com and New Line Cinema temaed up to promote the theatrical release of JUST FRIENDS. Thousands of bands sent in their version of "Jamie Smiles." Five bands were chosen to be finalists to win One grand prize of $10,000 to jumpstart their music career. Myspace.com users who voted for their favorite band had a chance to win a JUST FRIENDS goodie back that included a soundtrack to the movie, t-shirt and New Line DVD. The contest and sweepstakes ran from November 8, 2005 through December 4, 2005.
