NBC Universal and Ford teamed up to promote KATH & KIM with the "Ford Warriors in Pink Watch, Laugh, and Win" sweepstakes. Contestants entered online at http://www.nbc.com/kath_and_kim/fordwarriorsinpink for a chance to win a limited edition Ford Warriors in Pink Mustang. The sweepstakes began October 16, 2008 and ended October 31, 2008. The Ford Warriors in Pink Mustang was created to raise awareness for breast cancer and raise money for Susan G. Komen for the Cure. The promotion was advertised during the closing segment of the October 16 episode of KATH & KIM and through a print campaign with KATH & KIM stars Molly Shannon and Selma Blair that launched on October 9, 2008. The promotion was supplemented by 1,000 "House Parties" across the nation organized by Ford to watch the October 16 episode of KATH & KIM. Recent Ford buyers who have been affected by breast cancer hosted the parties. The limited edition Ford Warriors in Pink Mustang is also featured as Kim's car throughout the first season of KATH & KIM.
