Description:
The National Hockey League`s Los Angeles Kings and City of Hope teamed up for a "Month of Hope" in January 2010. During the "Month of Hope", the L.A. Kings held in-arena events and offered special ticket packages for City of Hope employees, families and friends. City of Hope received a donation from every ticket sold. Ticketmaster also donated the ticketing fees from the sale of tickets for "Face Off for Hope," a celebrity hockey game that took place on January 2, 2010. The team also offered limited-edition L.A. Kings "Month of Hope" merchandise that benefited City of Hope. At each game, the L.A. Kings honored "Heroes for Hope," which included City of Hope doctors or patients who exemplify outstanding commitment to their work or treatment.
