Description:
Riot Games partnered with the Shell Oil company to promote their LEAGUE OF LEGENDS European tournament scene.

This Europe-only partnership had Shell represented across different aspects of the region’s esports. For example, when the gaming character Baron is killed on the Rift (with the Baron V-Power Play) a Shell logo displayed on the stream.

Also, viewers who used the LEC German language Twitch channel were able to earn 7-day XP-Boosts whenever the Baron is taken down. Shell also was the main sponsor of the DACH Premier tour, an amatuer open tournament for players in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.

Anyone who attended earned a unique in-game skin. German League players earned additional exclusive items and rewards using a Shell Clubsmart loyalty card.
